Background: B was born to Brick and Beatrice, two pirates who had abandoned their family names to keep their whereabouts safe. B wasn't always her name, her first name was Belicia, but she thought of it as "too girly" so she shortened it to B. All her life she's been going place to place, but always lived on a pirate ship. Growing up, she was a thief, doing the small pick pocketing to the full on snatch-and-run.
But her piracy act didn't last more than those 12 years; when she became an adolescent she started to slow down. She started to not want to kill, and pillage all the time like her parents did or the other crew mates. Instead, she did the chores and labors around the ship (i.g: Mopping the deck, making the food, washing the dishes, etc.) Only on occasions she would steal, but not kill.
When she turned 15 her Father came down with a strange sickness that was spreading around the slaves they kept in the holding cells on the bottom floor of the boat, and died. This lead to the captain to throw all the slaves overboard after throwing fresh bloody meat into the ocean; causing the sharks to take them easily. The ship soon stopped on one of the islands of Verin after a raging attack from a Navy ship. B has stayed there ever since.
