Thought you'd like to see that. I wanted to make sure they didn't have your permission to stencil this before reporting, but they didn't credit you, so I have a feeling you've no idea they did this.

No, that was news to me. This piece has been ripped off more than anything else I've done, and it just doesn't stop suckin'. I figure I'll get used to it eventually, but that day is not today.

Every now and then, I flip through your gallery, and always come back to this one. In all honesty, it's one of my favorite pieces on DA. The attitude and tranquility blended together, the tense but casual pose (comparing the flexed feet to the relaxed mouth), everything about it is awesome.

I love this piece. I came across it on tumblr a while ago but didn't bother to look up who created it. A few weeks passed and I had to make a scratch board for my art class and I chose this picture. Then there was an art show a few nights ago and I got an honorable mention for it. But a bunch of my friends got on my back about it because they knew it was from your picture. I'd just like to apologize for pretty much stealing your work, it should have been you getting that award.

Mostly it just bugs me that this picture is floating around without my watermark on it. I can't fault you for drawing it, but I definitely think it's not cool for anybody to enter a contest with art they didn't create. If you could make a scratchboard of it well enough to win an honorable mention, you're obviously talented enough to win for something that's all your own.
