I thought it looked kind of "Little Match Girl"-ish.

This has been sitting around on my desktop for for-ev-ah! I think I initially drew it back during the summer, but never finished it. So forgive some of the problems with it, because I inked it based on the original sketch of it. So, yeah, I guess I've made a SLIGHT improvement in three quarters of a year...

This is for of Wicker. I know I use him every where, yes, this is another case in which Wicker gets to be reused because his powers work really well as a mutant power. SO THAR!

His age has bounced around a lot in the past, but I settled on him being a 12 year old, with some mental disabilities. Anyway. Wicker is a sweet and trusting kid. Slight developmental disabilities, so he sometimes acts even more childish than a 12 year old. He doesn't know who his parents are, and has a resentment towards foster-families because he was placed in a rather abusive one as a small child. He ran away when he was younger and spent two or three years of his life homeless and living with whatever homeless adult would spare him some time.

He's a lucky kid though because a local pot-dealer had a good heart and took him in. Wicker now lives with Matthew Gonzalez, (who belongs to ~demonp3n and has a rather loving, almost parental relationship with the hop-head, who is also a mutant, so he understands Wicker a lot more than other people.

Wicker's mutant power allows him to create illusions, but it's a little more techniqual than that, even if he doesn't know it. Wicker can manipulate, to a small extent, the electrical signals in a persons brain, tricking them into thinking their senses experience something that they didn't. This only governs over the sense of sight, smell, taste, hearing and touch, and cannot last indefinitely. Some senses are easier to keep tricking, like sight and hearing. Touch is the hardest, and quite often even if Wicker tries his best he can only trick someone into thinking they felt something for no more than three minutes.
