Redrew a few times and then relined it some more. I gave up after the third attempt and after the paper started reacting strange to my watercolors. (Please excuse how cheesy my summarization of the scenario is. I had a better and shorter version than what i wrote below a while back.)

Heavily based on my AU's that consists of these two. In this particular circumstance, it falls in line with the novel version in where Thaegan lives once and isn't revived multiple times. Fallow, feeling isolated, beings to miss the sorceress presence. He beings to feel reluctance in his tasks and the lack of progress doesn't go unnoticed by the Shadowlord. Fallow's threatened with stricter orders. Fallow's continuous abuse of lumin spirals him to see things that aren't there. In this particular instance, Fallow envisions Thaegan through his intoxicated state. Unbeknownst to him, Thaegan is there spiritually and attempts to consult Fallow in the fewest of words. Their locked gazes speaking a mountain of words.
