She will be in World 8-4 like always, Mario, so it’s no use moping about wanting her in your life. Start tossing some shells and stomping some heads and claim her as your own… Winners make it happen!
That said, I do sympathize a bit from the look of his forlorn face, as he chows down his breakfast and gets ready for work. Maybe he’s pleading us to make it happen for him.
There’s truly a lot of incredible detail to be found here; from Mario’s jumpsuit to his wonderful-looking breakfast (I’d eat pasta all day if I could!) to the tiled kitchen walls and of course, Princess Peach herself. Both figures are portrayed as being very real human beings with real human needs, making this rather touching, I would think.
Overall, superb work and an exemplary piece of work on a truly iconic platformer. Hope to see more work like this from you. I believe something like this would be a worthy addition to my Honorary Class favourites, whatever that may mean to you. Well done once again!

love this but, i have to say I'm disturbed by how much the mushroom looks like the one you said you took inspiration from. The one to the right of the whole green mushroom. The red one cut in half. I compared them and they really do look exactly the same, even the lighting and strokes on the bottom and top.

I tried to make them as much as possible similar but even shading, color, location R varies.

I managed to find the green and red mushrooms, the koopa in the pot, and a figurine of both the fish from the sea levels, and the star. Very impressive
