Getting back into education after a 2 year break is pretty tough. Sorry for disappearing off the face of the earth for the last few months; school has been eating my time in general.

Anyway, since it's nearing the end of 2011, I thought I would do my yearly review from this year. This is not actually a complete history of my year because I didn't have any photos from some of the events/cons that I went to. Those were mostly repeat costumes that I had already shot, so I didn't see any point in getting any more photos of them especially as con backgrounds really aren't that great, so I've skipped some.

I remember last year, I had 39 cosplays/shoots and my resolution this year was to cut down on them to make sure my health could cope and to devote my spare time to things other than cosplay. I'm quite glad that I did manage to cut it down this year, though the decrease in cosplays was mostly forced by my return to UK from HK in late February. The lack of photographers and access to raw materials like fabrics at decent prices can be frustrating at times, but it's probably a good thing overall, since I really needed to concentrate on my studies!

Having said that, I still have a mountain of photos from shoots to edit, and I'm pretty terrible at motivating myself to do them, so let me know if there are any costumes that you would like to see more photos of and I'll do my best to post them on here.

Anyway, I hope everyone's 2011 has been eventful and fruitful, and may the next year be better than the last!
