I was really wanting to post this one closer to the end of the year --kinda like my "last big hoo-rah of '07" or whatever-- but I can't help it.

I dunno why, but I've been on a big Kougaiji (crap. I can't even type his name. Took me 3 tries...) kick recently. ^_^ I'd been dying to use this kind of pose, and he ended up being the perfect character for something like this.
The night I finished him, I immediately made a desktop wallpaper out of him, and just sat here for 3 minutes and STARED AT IT. 83
(No, I won't send the wallpaper file to anyone, I don't want to risk it getting stolen like some of my previous work. I'm paranoid, I know. 9_9;; )
And at first, I almost forgot the markings on his face. XD *rofl* Oh WOW, I suck.
(And I can totally imagine ~LovesDarkness way up in Canada pointing at her computer screen and yelling "BLASPHEMY!! You call yourself A FANGIRL?! >A<")
Ah yes. And my dear vector-artist friends out there can be a teensy bit more proud of me--
I forced myself to actually use the pen tool on this one.
Feels good to finally say that! ^^ And it didn't kill me either! 8D(I used it to do the base color stroke on his ponytails. XD Hey, it's a start, right? ^^)

I got an A on my chemistry final too! Actually, I made straight A's on all my finals. (The same score for them all too, 90's on each *is in awe*)

I know! When I recieved my A on my chemistry final, I broke out into tears of joy. I had NEVER made an A on a chemistry test before. Not saying I did bad on them all, just saying that most of the grades were B's!

Sounds like you got a ton of shit to do! XD I have some stuff I need to totally work on too. I'm going to tell you about a project I plan on getting into! It sounds like so much fun, I'm probably going to die while doing it.
I'm going to make a short doujiseni (sp?) and it is going to be epic. It will be a crossover( don't diss it until you try to work it out XD) between Detective Conan and Death Note. Light Yagami, the Napolien of crime, meeting Conan, the masterful detective. C'mon, you can't tell me this isn't a cool idea! <3
I plan on doing the cover page in color, and maybe some little comics about it. The whole thing will remain in black and white because I refuse to spend more hours on coloring. XD So, that is what I plan on working on for a while.
I also have another comic I want to start. But I am nervious that if I get in too over my head, I'll never be able to finish any of the things I started! You understand, right? O_O

I've only gotten one other final-exam "A" in Chemistry before, and that was back in high school.
Sounds like a great concept, I say go for it! 
(Doujins are fun to do, too... ^^ I took a shot at one about 4 or so years ago. XD)
I love your plan though... maybe have one main storyline, and a couple little "omake" minicomics thrown in for fun?
And I can TOTALLY understand about the other comic... I took an "independant study" Studio class about 2 years ago, where my entire semester project was to create 10-12 pages of a manga. 1. Right now, I'm watching my C-mas DVDs. I'm finished with the first 2 discs of Bleach (I forgot how much of a dork Urahara is. XD I love that guy), and I'm only 2 episodes into DNAngel. Sooooooo...... as far as new series go, DNAngel is my next one to focus on! ^_^
As far as TV-anime goes, I'm still awaiting the next eps of Blood+ and Death Note.

^^ YAY! I was working on some of the pretty backround pages and stuff last night. When I realised one MAJOR issue. XD I can't draw Light Yagami very well! O_O He is more difficult to draw then you would believe. >_> I blame it on his hair. XD L is easy to draw, but Light is hard. O_O

I think it's because of his "more realistic" hair... Insanely spikey hair (aka, stereotypical anime hair) is a bit easier to draw usually, but those that have hair like most people in real life can be a nightmare...
I definitely recommend "Studio" class! 
I did surprisingly well on them, got an A for the class.
*rofl* Seriously? XD (Wait, was he Hollow Ichigo, or just a random Hollow?) Hehe...."Hichigo", as he's sometimes called, is SUCH a fun character.

Since I'm not too familiar on the character, my comment might be short, so I apologize in advance. But I had to stop and say the depth in this piece is absolutely f*king AMAZING o________o Your art has really leaped in huge bounds lately, the depth and color detail is just incredible. And happy to hear you had a good experience with the pen tool. I love it, even if I'm not totally perfect at it yet xD

Yeah, I haven't done much Kougaiji fanwork as of yet, unfortunately... The only deviations I have with him so far are the 2nd pic of my Saiyuki Illustration set and my little Chibi-Kougaiji . XD He's a fun character though-- He's kinda a villain in the Saiyuki series, but not really. (Basically, he's trying to take a scripture that Sanzo carries around, but he only wants it to save his mother, who's apparently sealed in a stone column.) He's a demon prince who has the ability to use fire-based attacks, and can summon fire-demons to help him in fighting (hence my pic title). He has a hyper little half-sister, Lirin, and despite how serious and grouchy he normally is, he's really kind and protective of her.
...
Plus, Vic voices him. Which is just.....yay.

Hehehe....You'd get a good laugh out of me with a Pen Tool then. XDDD I usually end up just sitting here for about an hour, growling at those little click-and-drag "handles" because I can never get the arc to look right AT ALL. 
Well at least you're doing some work of him :3 and he sounds really cool! Kind of bad but not really. I like that X3 lol.
And if Vic voices him, it's automatic win, you know it XD
Well playing around is often what leads to the best results :3 it seems when you're not thinking about trying your work comes out best, funny how that happens. XD and did you really flip the bg? That's cool, I'll remember that for future possibility.
lol It's okay, I had a bit of a time with the Pen Tool at first also. Luckily I found a couple good tutorials on how to use it. I love that thing for lineart, it makes such smooth lineart!! What annoys me though is the constant clicking of stroke path, stimulate or not stimulate, then delete path, repeat 50 times in a row.. X__X I think there's a trick you can do so you don't have to do that as much, but I don't know what it is. I have to check one of my tutorials bookmarked again

Haha, thanks! But coloring on the computer is really just a matter of practice-- I've been doing it for about 3 or 4 years. ^^ My best tips are to check out online tutorials (best one I've ever come across ), and to look into getting a drawing tablet.
As far as stuff I'm currently working on, I've got 2 CG pics in the works, a couple new statues and bobbleheads, and I'm starting to do some more Prisma marker pics. ^^
