Hey this is a pretty sweet pic. I especially like the twins theme, since I'm a twin myself.
So those ponies represent your mom and aunt? Sweet. They must be proud that you're an outstanding artist. Keep up the great work.

It's pretty sweet being a twin too.
Wow looks like you're getting a healthy dose of twins. XD
That's pretty sweet that your mom and aunt are twins.
Hey since you're a daughter of a twin maybe you'll have a set of your own some day. Just keep praying.

it´s from one of the latest episodes "Hurricane Fluttershy"....a hillarious pony I fell in love with the first time I saw him...his name(by fans choice) is Snowflake...or mostly called "Steroids Pony"...awsome guy

LinaPrime In reply to ArtistKev14 [2012-04-17 00:56:41 +0000 UTC]

hahahha!! th pegasus basically have to do a hurricane to take all the water from the ground to Cloudsdale to make storms....and they need all the wing power they can...that is...all pegasus must participate, and Fluttershy, well...she isn´t that good...but it all ends up really cool, it´s one of the best...especially cause they´re a lot of new characters...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ArtistKev14 In reply to LinaPrime [2012-04-20 03:02:17 +0000 UTC]

Oh wow, that sounds like an interesting episode. I might have to watch it. Darn it you're turning me into a Bronie. XD! It's all good though, I like the character designs. Any show, game, comic, etc. is worth the time if they have good character designs.

Oh so Fluttershy is a pegasus? Interesting, because there is a Pegasus Knight on Fire Emblem that really reminds me of Fluttershy. Her name even starts with an "F". lol Just like Fluttershy she is well... extremely shy, but she's a pretty good character. Here's a pic of her. I think her name is Florina or something like that. It's been a while since I played the game. [link]

well, you´re always welcome into our herd.....but not in Fluttershy´s shed....just kidding....I love the show, because of...well....everything! the charas, the designs, the animation, the story....and the ones that make it (they´re some of my idols)...it´s awsome!

yes, Fluttershy is a pegasus.....I loved that picture...those are a lot of coincidences....

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ArtistKev14 In reply to LinaPrime [2012-04-24 20:03:05 +0000 UTC]

Oh please ten minutes with me and we'll have to change Fluttershy's name... if you get what I mean. XD JK. Fluttershy is probably the cutest with her shyness, but Pinkie Pie is pretty unique with her random personality and R-Dash is pretty cool with her bold personality.
Yeah those guys really made MLP modern and hip. I can see why they're your idols. It takes talent to revamp a classic with a new formula without losing it's flavor. Sega needs to take a lesson from them when making these Sonic games. I was around when the first games for the Sega Genesis came out and... oh darn, now I feel old. =/

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LinaPrime In reply to ArtistKev14 [2012-04-24 22:10:17 +0000 UTC]

of course she´s the cutest! I love Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash is my fave....but yes, they are all awsome, those guys are very very talented..Lauren Faust herself worked in the past with her husband, Craig McCraken, and also Genndy Tartakovsky, doing unforgetable cartoons (the Powerpuff Girls, Dexter´s Lab, etc) and she worked in the animation of some characters from the movie the Iron Giant, working along with Brad Bird, who later worked as director in Pixar movies.....and those are just some of the uncountable artists that always delight me...
definetly, Sonic games are some of my favourites....but yes, games released now aren´t the same as the ones from the 90´s....they need some creative, revolution....and don´t feel old....sometimes i´m around with friends and i start talking about stuff they don´t know, even the most modern ones....and they don´t understand what the crap am i talking about....of course in my family those are common things to talk about...so the only friends (not family) that actually understand me better are you and some others here in internet but i think my friends are trying to learn...they know I´m kinda weird, so they give me chances to explain the magical world of my mind

ArtistKev14 In reply to LinaPrime [2012-04-27 05:42:08 +0000 UTC]

Yeah I'd totally date Fluttershy if I was a young stallion. But then that means I would have to cheat on her in order to date Pinkie and Dash. So many possibilities... but with limited choices. XD

Lauren Faust and Genndy Tartakovsky? Those two practically put CN on the map, before it totally went downhill. But at least there's still Adventure Time and Regular Show. Foster's was very cool too. Ah I miss those old days. I was a kid when those shows were out.

I guess if I had to choose, Johnen Vasquez and Yoji Shinkawa are two of my favorite artists. Frank Miller is one of the best U.S comic artists in my opinion. Are you familar with Sin City? The graphic novel series was launched in the early 90's when Miller was working with Darkhorse, one of my favorite publishers. Anyways his style was very dynamic and he uses deep shadows and very high contrast. Here's an example:
[link]

Yeah I'm listening to the JP bad future BGM for Stardust Highway from Sonic CD. Yeah Sonic and I go way back. As a gamer I hate to see how sophomoric some of the modern games are. I miss franchise's classic gameplay that made it a stand out from the rest of platforming games. He definitely gave Mario a run for his money. Hey have you ever played any of the Sonic Advance games? Those are the only modern games I can think of that really brings back the classic 2D Sonic era.

Oh wow your family sounds pretty cool. Eh I don't think you're weird. Your personality if Pinkie Pie cute. You have a bit of GIR in you too so it's like a"sweet" and "zesty" blend. I bet you're fun to hang around. I'll have to look you up if I ever go to Argentina one day.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LinaPrime In reply to ArtistKev14 [2012-04-28 16:53:16 +0000 UTC]

if I were a pony I would totally date Braeburn....but I would have to cheat on him in order to date Big Maccintosh, Shining Armor and Snowflake

I love those shows too, it´s great to see some good cartoons in this days...so many crappy shows lately

WOW! those artists are espectacular too, Frank Miller is one of my favourites and I admire Shinkawa´s works....Sin City is definetly awsome!...

I really like listening to Sonic music too.... it is pretty awful to see those games being so...repeting now.....I never had the chance to play Sonic Advance...but I played the 90´s Sonic games..(the first ones, almost all)....Sonic Adventure (1 & 2)..Sonic Riders (1 & 2)...Sonic Unleashed...and Sonic Heroes....loved them all....but not the same as the classics...

hahaha! thanks! sometimes I consider myself a little like Rainbow Dash...sometimes like Pinky....others like Brain...etc...etc...You´re always welcome into my shed...I mean...to my house...to my house

ArtistKev14 In reply to LinaPrime [2012-04-28 23:56:57 +0000 UTC]

You can always juggle your bronies. It's not like you're looking for one to marry. XD

Yeah CN isn't as glorious as it used to be. As a matter of fact, television programs out here aren't as entertaining as they were years back. The only channels I really watch are the news channels. =/

Yeah Sin City is pretty slick. I've read all of the volumes and wasn't disappointed with any of it. I would love to see Shinkawa produce a MGS graphic novel someday, but Ashley Wood's MGS comics aren't really bad even if they deter from the original story a bit.

Yeah you missed out with Sonic Advance. Those are the only modern Sonic games that are just as awesome as the classics, especially Sonic Advance 3. In that game you have five playable characters: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Cream. One will be the player character while the other is the partner. It felt pretty sweet to play as Sonic with Tails tagging along like in 2 and 3. Also the combination of the player and partner characters determine what abilities they will have. For example with Sonic as his partner, Knuckles can do a gliding headbutt instead of his normal glide ability.
The Sonic Adventure games were definitely steps in the right direction for 3D Sonic games, but it all went to hell with the release of these lame poser games, especially with Shadow the Hedgehog. I thought that was gold when I saw the trailer, but when I "actually" played it I was really disappointed. Dang I could go on forever about the differences of the classic 2D games and the crappy 3D games. XD

Yeah you have a pretty balanced blend of Pinky's randomness and Dash's boldness. Sweet. Whenever I'm in Argentina I'll look your she..err house up. Oh and if you're ever in the States you're welcome to my place.

LinaPrime In reply to ArtistKev14 [2012-04-29 15:45:23 +0000 UTC]

LOL! I know, I know

yeah...the worst part is that not only CN is the one affected....

I could only watch Sin City the movie...but I have the volumes in my very large list of books, mangas and comics to read....

wow, those sound awsome, I´ll try to get them for pc at least so I can try them....Shadow the Hedgehog? I totally heard about it...is it so lame?...oh! and I love Shadow so much!...Sonic Adventure games were definetly awsome...and Shadow was one of my favourite characters from them....

I really want to go back to States some day....if I have the chance to go again, I´ll look up for you and we´re gonna go to Disney...because I wanna work there someday so maybe we get free tickets

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ArtistKev14 In reply to LinaPrime [2012-05-04 03:27:24 +0000 UTC]

Yeah. hahaha.

Yeah all of television is starting to suck these days. Not enough creative shows. Like I said I mostly watch the News and crime shows.

Yeah the movie was pretty sweet. When it was released there were four different covers. I wanted the one with Shelly and Jackie Boy, but Mom bought the Dwight and Gail cover. I was around fourteen at the time so I guess a dvd cover showing a woman clad in black underwear and a flannel shirt was out of the question. XD

Yeah the Sonic Advance series is pretty sweet. Sega should've made more, but Sonic Advance 3 was released around the demise of the GBA so yeah. Yeah Shadow the Hedgehog is lame. Sega tried to make it a darker game by adding guns and a few cuss words here and there. The partner system sucks and the story is bland. For a character as cool as Shadow you would think Sega would've given him a sweet origin story... but they utterly failed. If you want to play a game with Shadow, in my opinion of course, stick with Sonic Adventure 2.

Oh so you've been to the States? Sweet.
So you want to work for Disney in the future? Sweet. Those guys could use some of your talent or globs of it. XD

LinaPrime In reply to ArtistKev14 [2012-05-04 23:40:57 +0000 UTC]

of course, news kinda makes me sleepy because here even some news programs are pretty...lame and don´t inform to much....

hahahhahaha!! good parenting there ....my mom bought me years ago a Narnia poster, from the second movie, cause I am totally in love with prince Caspian...but then it got old and I cleaned up the walls of my room, and my friends gave to me for my birthday last year two Linkin Park posters and a T-shirt of them...my mom doesn´t like them to much, but I wear the T-shirt almost all time, and I´ll never take of the posters.....EVUH!! still, they´re a lot of stuff that I didn´t take of the walls

ooohhh...to bad with the Shadow game...WHY??!! WHY???!!...yeah, I really want to play Sonic Adventure 2 again

pppffttt...my talent?...I don´t know, I feel quite intimidated by there professionalism....but I´ll do my best to get there...NOPONY WILL REJECT ME...EVUH!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ArtistKev14 In reply to LinaPrime [2012-05-05 21:57:48 +0000 UTC]

Dang that sucks. =/

Yeah I suppose it was good parenting. hahaha. Ah well Dwight is my favorite Sin City character, so no big deal. I wonder who's going to replace Brittany Murphy as Shelly?

Oh so you liked Narnia at one point? Speaking of Prince Caspian I bought third book ages ago in middle school. At the time I thought the cover was pretty cool and I was pretty interested in fantasy stories back then.

Wow your friends are pretty sweet if they bought those for you. Linkin Park pretty much rocks. I haven't seen much posters of the band out here, but I'm probably looking in wrong places.

Yeah that Shadow game shall forever remain a disfiguring spec in the history of Sonic the Hedgehog. Speaking of SA2 I have the Dreamcast hooked up right now and will probably play it, but man my skills are pretty rusty. I have all A rank with Sonic and Shadow, as for the others... not so much. =/

Disney does possess impressive skill, but what you have is a fresh young mind with plenty of ideas. I'm pretty sure you will fit in just fine once you reach that point, but if not you can always go independent. Who knows once my company launches I might have some work for you.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LinaPrime In reply to ArtistKev14 [2012-05-06 22:01:20 +0000 UTC]

oh, poor Brittany...it´s imposiblul!

yeah? I like yet fantasy too, I prefer sci fi, but fantasy is pretty cool...

maybe, in rock and punk stores they´re always plenty of music stuff...or in the music stores I think they sell posters too...

hahahah! I always liked Rouge a lot, Knucles too...but my favourite has always been Tails...gotta practice harder, maybe...

YES!! please! that would be AWSOME!...of course, if I can start working in an animation or game studio here in my country I´ll purchase it...but we can start independently too YAY!...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ArtistKev14 In reply to LinaPrime [2012-05-10 03:10:17 +0000 UTC]

Yeah it sucks that Brittnay's dead. She was a pretty talented actor with two of her best roles being Shelly of Sin City and that chick in 8 Mile. It's hard to find talent such as hers. She pretty much owned Shelly.

Yeah I like sci fi based fantasy. It's a pretty sweet genre, but I prefer dark themed stories. Nothing like that Twilight crap though. XD

I haven't been in a rock and punk store out here... I don't think there are any in my area unless you count Hot Topic.

I was surprised when Rogue made an appearance. For a Sonic character she has a lot of sex appeal. I remember my bro and I making jokes about how her breasts bounces in her intro stage and in the versus mode cut scene. Oh I like Tails too. He's my second favorite character. Whenever I'm playing Sonic Advance I use the cheat to unlock him to follow Sonic and in Sonic Advance 3 he's my favorite partner character, but as far as Sonic Adventure 2... I was pretty bummed that he was only playable as a shooting character, but I got over it. XD

Yeah no prob, but just do what you can. It will be a few years before Black Skull launches so in the meantime keep up the great work. Now is the time to hone our skills to professional level, though you're already pretty close to it.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LinaPrime In reply to ArtistKev14 [2012-05-10 22:15:32 +0000 UTC]

yeah, she was cool...

oh thank goodness, I don´t like Twilight either, even if I read all the books and watched all the movies...the only thing I really liked about them was when Edward and Bella´s daughter was born...really creepy scene....I really like dark stories too...no, actually I´m obscesed with dark stories...well...my mind is quite....weird....nopony really knows it well, it´s hard to explain!...we´re artist anyways, right?...

well then, let´s sell them illegally...

hahahahahh!! oh...men!....

hoho, thanks...but I still need to learn a lot...few years, huh?...enough time to study my career!...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ArtistKev14 In reply to LinaPrime [2012-05-11 03:02:06 +0000 UTC]

Yeah she was.

I don't get why Twilight was such a big fad. I did read part of book one, but never got into it. I don't really understand the series that well. So those two had a kid. *sarcastic tone: Gee, never saw that coming. XD
Yeah "real" dark stories are pretty interesting. Are you familiar with Tim Burton or Jhonen Vasquez? If you're obsessed with dark stories look into those two dudes. Their work can be pretty dark... especially Vasquez's series "Johnny the Homicidal Maniac".
Yeah I totally know what you mean. Nobrony really understands my mind either... not even me. o_O but that's what makes us great artists.

Yeah there's an idea. XD

Yeah it's a guy thing. Still I'm not the type who treats women as objects. Women are a gift from God.

Yeah same here. If I can just get used to drawing with a tablet, my art would be sizzling right now. Luckily you have some skills with the tablet. Just take your time and work with them and pretty soon you'll be living your dream.

Yeah that's right, in a few years Black Skull Studios will be live. I have a ton of work to do before it gets there... but it'll be worth it.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LinaPrime In reply to ArtistKev14 [2012-05-11 23:56:29 +0000 UTC]

yeah, I don´t understand it either...I liked the Host even more...and the Hunger Games totally defeats the series...even the movie....but fangirls are still really annoying.....yeah...fake vampires, fake vampires everywhere.....no-vampire will ever be like my poor and beloved Dracula

What kind of question is that? I BUCKING LOVE TIM BURTON!! he´s one of my superior idols!! he always been!!.....

of course we´re great artist...[link]

of course is a guys thing...maybe...I know you men enough (3 older brothers and 3 older boy cousins...gotta deal with it!)...I´m glad to know a guy with that characteristic.....I´m greatful for the words it is true...and also the fact that he gave us the gift of our talents.....Y U SO AWSOME?!

yeah, it takes a little time to get used to it...I´ll try to practice hard....you should try the tablet too
of course it worths it...you gonna rock!!

ArtistKev14 In reply to LinaPrime [2012-05-12 07:50:46 +0000 UTC]

Oh I've seen The Host in stores. I never read it though. I might have to peruse through it one day. Wow, you're the second person I know that likes the Hunger Games. That series must be pretty good. Yeah none of those fake vampires will be as diabolical and menacing as Dracula. XD

Looks like I bucked up when I asked that question.
Of course you like Burton. Burton is a genius when it comes to darkness. Vasquez comes pretty close too, but Burton is classic.

Yeah us great artists have to stick together.

Oh now I see why you understand men. XD! 3 older bros and three older male cousins. Wow not enough girls in that household. Bummer. Yeah Mom and Dad raised me properly so I pretty much have a good head on my shoulders... but not all of the time. hahaha. Y I'm so awesome? Easy I just live my life as God wants me to. Sure there's ups and downs, but if where's the fun if everything always run smoothly.

Yeah I'll keep practicing with the tablet. Pretty soon I'll be cranking out wicked digital art. Yeah keep practicing too. You can only get better.

Aw, thanks for the support. Now I have to ask: Y U SO AWESOME!?

yes please! maybe we can complete some double memes

hahahahahah!! Y me so awsome?..... I don´t know...I´m just myself...I could say the same thing you told me: "I just live my life as God wants me to", because it´s true...along with the fact that I try to act for the best...enjoying the things that I have and the people I love....

Yeah my friend thinks the same thing about The Hunger Games. I think you two would get along pretty well. lol. Dracula is not only the best, he's the original, though I think Depp's portrayal of Barnabas is pretty sweet.

That's why we like Burton. XD

Look out! These artists mean business! >

Yeah. Mom's pretty awesome... though it pains me to say that Dad lost his way... I'm keeping him in my prayers.

Alright. Looks like I have a reason to pick up some tablet skills. That would be sweet.

Sounds like you have the same philosophy like me. Yeah God put us on this earth to find our happiness. It's pretty sweet to have a friend who feels the same about life as me.

Depp may give Dracula a run for his money. It's pretty close though, since that's my favorite actor and Dracula is numero uno. We'll just have to keep score.

Art is also a serious profession. We great artists make the world go round. We entertain the masses and inform them as well. Yep it's definitely serious business!

Yeah.... it's a really long story about Dad. Like I said he just lost his way. I really appreciate your prayers, Mom, my bro, and I could really use it.

Yeah that would be sweet. Just imagine the work we can do. Just give me some time... a year's tops. I'm just getting the hang of drawing with this tablet. It's like learning how to draw all over again. =/

Yeah just think about it... out of all the places online and all of the people, somehow we met each other. Not only as pen pals and future partners, but as friends. God has his way of putting the right people in the right places, so yeah I'm pretty sure we'll meet in person. Especially if we're going to be working together.

well, my school puts humanities study before arts...althought we had Theather, Plastic Arts and Music, they don´t focus to much on them....we had Plastic Arts only one year, and I even I had all 10s (or A´s) I would totally teach something else, like anatomy and digital art and a lot of other cool stuff, and I would really purchase the few classes and I would make the students love art!!...not like the professor we had...because with our Theatger and Music professors, we start liking the subjects, but Plastic Arts classes needed to be more dinamic....oh yeah, and that school really needs to get more actualized...but it´s kinda hard to do it here...

YEEHAW!!

Yeah me too, though I like Corpse Bride a little bit more. Still A Nightmare Before Christmas is pretty sweet.

Yeah that's the plan. As an aspiring game designer I need both writing and drawing skills. Speaking of which are you enjoying those intern programs? Gee I wish there were programs like that in my area. I think Austin or Houston may have some, but not too sure.

My old high school had some pretty good programs for art, but yeah there wasn't a strong focus on them. Wow that sucks. My art teachers were really enthusiastic about art. I'm actually surprised that yours weren't. Art should be focused on more, but I guess that's why creative minds like that are rare. That would be pretty sweet if you could teach those classes. Your skills are already superb. Artists everywhere can learn so much for you.

YIPPIE KI YO KI YAY! (I'm Texan. XD)

I liked Coraline too, they´re the same animators

yeah sure...the internship program? I finished, it was great, I just finished writing the report for one of my teachers....I really loved going there,I would do it again...but I think I´ll have to wait until I get a chance to formerly work there

nah, I don´t know...but yeah, once I was speaking to my older brother who studied Graphic Design...and now they aren´t so many Designers with real talent appreciated...and kids today...oh dear!

hahahahahhah!!

Another DVD I want to get. Burton's stop motion films are really cool. His live action films are pretty stellar too.

Oh sweet. Yeah it's pretty helpful to have a taste of the professional world. Too bad it's so small. It makes you want more and more. So where did you work?

Wow that really sucks. You know I'm glad for sites like deviantArt. Artists from all over can get together and spread their talent and become noticed by audiences everywhere.
Yeah the kids... they need to be exposed to more inspiring art that will trigger their imagination. Just keep praying.

Yeah. Texas is my home state. There are many opportunities out here, especially in the bigger cities like Houston and Austin. It's not just cowboys and horses anymore. Also since we're bordering Mexico, we have a pretty rich blend of Latino and American culture out here. Texas is pretty sweet.

Tim Burton itself is cool...if I ever get the chance to meet him...even if I just see him in the street for 5 seconds and he waves his hand or tells me "hello"...I will die of a heartattack....

totally...I worked in a national financial company (it started here in my country, but now it´s in almost all South America) in the marketing area (cause I told them I want to study Desing in the future, I made it clear)...the company was named "Best Place to Work" by the Guiness....it definetly is fun!

I love this web page, so diferent to others....and yeah...at least I´m gonna try to raise my own children (if I can have them someday) like my own generation...and teach them a lot of things

oh, I would love to go there sometime, I didn´t had the chance to visit it when we were living in States........no no, it´s not cowboys and horses anymore....is "Cowboys vs Aliens"....nah, just kidding....oh dear, that movie.....I would really like to go there sometime

Yeah Tim Burton is pretty sweet. I wouldn't mind sitting down with him one on one and have a pleasant conversation. I probably wouldn't be able to hide my excitement and stress as well though. XD Oh no don't have a heart attack if you see him. =0!

Oh wow sweet. That's definitely one way for artists to help their country with their talent. Opportunities seem to be popping everywhere nowadays. So the company was named "Best Place To Work" by Guinness? Sweet.

I love this web page too. deviantArt is so full of opportunities and the community is pretty tight. Also with the constant contests people are actually getting their work out there. It's pretty sweet. Wow, sounds like you're going to make a great mom someday. Your future really sounds positive.

Yeah Texas is pretty sweet... and big too. I've been too some of the bigger cities, mostly Houston. Cowboys vs. Aliens? That's a possibility. XD Especially with Texas's crazy weather. A few years ago it snowed in the middle of Spring and People wear shorts during Winter. It doesn't get cold out here much.
When you do get a chance to come to Texas be sure to live it up!
