Wow - I drew this a LONG time ago ... 1996! Back when Gargoyles was NEW! I was in high school ... ugh... scary.This is a drawing of Linara, a character I made up. She doesn't really have an exciting story behind her to tell...
She is kinda based on Delilah - since that was the only picture I really had to draw from... Before the days of the internet and infinite expanses of image websites!!
She is colored with Prismacolor pencils (which the scanner ate for breakfast apparently) and I touched it up a tiny bit with Photoshop.

I always love looking at this illustration whenever i visit your page. The anatomy, the pose, the everything about her always draws me to full view this and appriciate it. Knowing thats its an UBER OLD pic adds to its value in my opinion....who knows, it was prolly the first gargoyles fanart!

Wow! I was shocked to see Gargoyle art! I just saw the show for the first time last week, and I'm suprised that I didn't know of it sooner. Ah well. Sadly, I can't get Toon Disney where I live...

I hope so - I have a bunch of different pictures in my sketchbook all screaming to be colored!! Once school is out I will be able to concentrate more on art, that's why all my recent pictures have been digital instead of line art. Thanks for the interest!

Heh, I remember that show, but I was in college and couldn't follow it. I just recall Jonathan Frakes in it. Splendid drawing, I love how the loincloth hangs so loosely around her hips.
