I am probably going to get a new job too. I'm thinking of teaching biochemistry at a private high school. I need some structure and to plant myself somewhere permanently. This flying back and forth from AZ to HI is too hard.

really good work ! i'd be curious to know how you did the Tiara. overall its great, i cant see anything wrong with it but then we are our worst critics .

I went to a bead shop. It's out in the middle of the desert. I found super fine gold wire and the tiniest beads glass imaginable. The beads are so tiny and fragile so it was hard. I twist the wire by hand and add glass glue with a pin to hold the beads into place. By the time I was finished I had the worst head ache and my fingers actually bled.
After the tiara was put together I took a pin and twisted the wire spires around them in ringlets to give it dimension.
If you note me with your address I will send you a little package with some wire and the beads. They are the smallest beads with holes I've ever seen. I have to buy in quantities that I will never be able to use up so I don't mind sharing.

ha, ha, ! now you know what its like to sculpt a Miniature whos head is 3.5 millimeters!!
for tiny stuff, i'd reccommend a Jeweller's Visor. comes with interchangeable lenses so you can choose a maginification suitable for the scale you're doing. reduces head-aches.... though i had a doozie last night!!
well done for toughing through it Roxy, reading that , its no mean feat.
