I have no idea what these (flowers? ) are,.. so if anyone knows...

I got quite the creep out though, as I was first taking pictures of plants on the ground, just off to the left of this picture, and I had my back (and hair) leaning into these flowers... Just to later get home, upload the picture, and see what looks like a million weevils all over it. oof!!!
