Description
I don't typically incorporate faeries into my art, but I was inspired by a recent pathworking I had done...so what you see is fairly representative of my vision. Whenever I "journey" into the Otherworld, the world tends to start to look like this. Blue permeates everything like an LED light, so this was meant to look somewhat electric or "switched on". This is my little experiment with light and weirdness.
Done in about 4-5 hours

I really adore this picture! Like I told you, I think the 'LED' effect it magnificent. This is very close to what I imagined when you described it to me. And I really like the faery and the faery wings.
And I especially appreciate the stag you tucked in there.

Oh wait, so seeing things in that shade of blue isn't necessarily a bad thing? See, years ago, I was watching my friend's 3 yr old playing in this patch of their gravel driveway (close to the house), and for some reason i think I was able to see who she was playing with even though no one else could. And everything was in those shades of colour (more or less) while I was seeing this individual(who had some small marking along the edges of its face, along the hairline). At the time, I thought I was seeing things in inverted colours, and couldn't explain why. I wasn't able to see Lil' Emmy's "friend" again after that, but at least now I don't feel so...weirded out by the experience.
Now that my train of thought has been properly placed on its track, I can comment on the pic. XD I love the flow of the colours, and how well it makes the wings stand out. Overall, I really like this pic. Especially the "Stolen from..." bit at the bottom. I like how you're taking a more noticeable stand against art thieves by including something like that, instead of just a watermark that they all seem to ignore or find some way to remove. This way, if they touch the text, it ruins the pic in a way that's obvious.
