Polaroid got me re-interested in photography last year.
Never really paid it much attention, at the AF Art Institute it was always the painters against the photographers, in some mythic battle of invincibility and what medium was superior.
Now with digital photography and computer manipulation the bottom has fallen out on any of that silly discussion. it all has become a bit too easy to come up with an image. Polaroid gave me the chance to combine the feeling of painting and photography and get something that held my interest longer than the time it takes a feather to float down from a tree.

Your red shoes made me smile, brought some Keds, PF flyers and one other ??? memory back and the piks of your family too are great and others as well.

the cropping worked with you and your sister
made it more an art pik than a family gathering with two little girls looking like they would rather bust out and play.
you were definitely set with the red sneaks.
that tint I love in that old film.

do you really think so?
i just looked at this again... it's not even a good scan
and i chopped off the right edge, so sloppy... i feel ashamed.
i don't know that i see this as my best but i am pleased you like.
what do you think makes it best?
i am on gabes really old slow laptop and i am having trouble operating it &
even typing, the mouse, all totally unfamiliar.
i am going to draw until i can get use of a better computer.
