Description Ok I know this is not a fanart and it is definitely not a person. It's a color wheel or a mandala. A mandala is a Hindu circle drawing, sculpture, painting, or whatever used to express something... like nature or emotions... I think. >:T

Well, yes. I made this for my art class. We were assigned to make mandalas that represent nature and the color wheel. It's supposed to be a rose but I made it more special by adding the trees on the inside and outside.

But yea, I'm just putting this on DA because I have nothing else to put on here that is cool enough.

'tis true, I've ways to go in order to match your knowledge of water colors, let me say this though, even though I do not yet possess your superior talents & experience, I must say this, well done...

I used to suck at using watercolors. What helped me get this far is practice. The more you practice with something, the more comfortable you get with it. Practicing a lot with watercolors is like that. With watercolors, its a matter of learning to use the water. Personally I think I still suck at using watercolors heheh XD But, Looking at other people's superior watercoloring skills helped me a lot. Observing their work and trying to pick up on their techniques will help you get better. But observing won't teach you fully... you need to practice the techniques and get used to using the watercolors.

look at this person's work, she's one of my idols... [link]

Interesting. They have this assignment in a class called "Color and Design" at my school. The end result is beautiful for the art they put up. Yours is great. What media did you use?

Watercolor. It says in my artist's comments, foo. Oh and what do those students do for their Mandala project? Does mine look cool enough to be in that class? Wahh... I wish I was going to art school.
