Though Celestia remains my favorite princess, it's hard to argue that Luna has the best design in Equestria. I just wanted to experiment with her design a little

thank you! It basically works like that: you first ink your drawing with waterproof(!!!) fineliners or ink, and then you add watercolors. I also did some accents with white acrylics.

yeah, not only Pokemon drawings...
I'm pretty proud of this piece myself, the only reason I haven't uploaded it to my main account is because it's not very new and I was like 'oh well...'
But the trick here is to mix several colors of watercolors right on paper, but it's also the paper. I bought this awesome paper in Czechia a year ago and it is one of the best things I've drawn on. It's by Koh-i-noor if you're interested.
The drops of white are actually acrylic paint^^

hh thanks!! It's like a favorite artist of mine once said something like "you may hoard copics or other expensive art supplies as much as you want, but they won't make your art better, only skill will". I hope I don't own too many expensive medias in that case xD

Perhaps, but I think in this case she needs a whole Renaissance-era outfit, with a large dress. Which is something that can be fun actually! Researching historical outfits is something that I love.
