I agree! People tend to do that to a lot of Creepypasta characters. They make them significantly less scary than they're supposed to be because of it. X'D

It's not just the characters, it is CP itself. I cannot take it seriously nowadays and seeing someone like this artist draw a great version of a character can redeem CP. But it is the crazed fangirls or fanboys who make DeviantArt OCs of CP Characters and pair them with other OCs or the original CP Characters, or create abilities that are far powerfully then the likes of Zalgo or The Slenderman. It just kills it for me really when they do that.

Yep... Agreed. I think that the Creepypasta fanbase is full of younger folk who lack a certain amount of maturity. That's why we scary artists are here--to redeem the fanbase! To add a little more creepy to the Creepypasta recipe! 8D (I've been trying to make Jeff less of an emo manbaby and more like a grotesque serial killer. I admit that I love ~LinmirianJoyrex 's version of Jeff, though.)

I don't really like Jeff that much, Personally his fangirls are the worse to the point where i want a story where someone kills the character off. No disrespect to you since you seem more like a Jeff fan and not a fangirl or fanboy but it is getting to the point where his character cannot be redeemed by how scary you can design him, you will still remember him for being a Manchild Psychopath and i just want someone to kill him off really because no one is making him a better character or his story any better because lets be for real his story and character is not even that good and making stories of how he is the king of all killers or killing a God will not make him any better because he is just a Psychopathic human being who was burnt in a fire and cut his mouth to make it look like the Joker's grin.
Β I am not saying Eyeless Jack's story is any better but Eyeless Jack himself or itself is a mysterious character and i know many people like to redesign him/it but now it's gone over the top with all of these human versions of the Eyeless Jack and it's gone to the point where his original Monster/Entity like appearance that he has in his photo is his entity version while the human version is the real version to many people on here. Not saying i am against any versions of any characters but i hate it when people humanize what could be a great character to make him look "Cute" or "Sexy" i mean saying scary or evil characters is like calling Captain Kirk or Han Solo "ugly"(It is an example don't take it seriously xD) But i just find Eyeless Jack what could of been a scary character but now he is pretty much on the same lines as BEN, Smile.jpg and Jeff the Killer of being irredeemable of having a horror appeal, I mean i love version of Eyeless Jack and he brings back his horror appeal as well as a little humor to it that doesn't kill the character like many artist do for The Slenderman or Jeff the Killer hell i must say i do agree with you on his version of Jeff is pretty good and there is another artist on here whose version of Jeff is pretty great but i still don't like the character as much as how great the design is or how good the story plot has, i still won't like the character.
That's my opinion personally so you don't have to take it seriously.

This so much. Everyone makes Jack look like a teenager, even a preteen in some cases. They do it to all the other Creepypasta entities as well. I like to draw Jack bulky for the same reasons I draw Jeff tall and actually ugly which is the reason you just said!

I prefer to see Jeff as being small since i don't like him or his story but as for the rest like Jack, The Rake or monster similar to those 2, i like to see them a little tall like maybe at least few inches or foot taller then a normal human being since it makes them seem more abnormal, menacing and evil.
