Description Chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs)

We had a task at school to create an additional organ to the human body from metal and wood. I chose to do a wing of a very thin copper sheet, which would improve hearing.

I cut the feathers out from the thin copper sheet by hand with shears, shaped them by hand and attached them to the base (copper wire) with thin copper wire. The beads are not handmade.

the feathers look so good, you should do some of these as hair clips

This is very interesting. Is it heavy at all on the ear?
I really like how it does look like it is growing out from the body.

It's not so heavy. The copper I used was extremely thin and light. But it is quite uncomfortable to wear.

Yes, the sharp copper pieces scratch your ear a bit. The additional organ did not necessarily have to be wearable.
