She is an exotic beauty, great job with putting the light in her eyes, and drawn so very well. You have done a great job on her entire being. The only part that looks partly off is the far left hand, the right hand is done very well. So I guess what I am saying is if a guy is looking at her left hand he is missing the whole picture.

I was thinking of drawing it angled a bit differently, to make it look properly foreshortened. Do you suppose that will make it look less awkward?

Yes try a couple different angles the hand might just follow the lines and flow into its spot.I have theory it is when all else fails put it on her hip or in a pocket. That way it might not even have to appear in the picture. I do not draw people but my friends always say the hands are the hardest part.

Your friend is right, I think - hands are notoriously difficult to get right. Time to find a mirror! And ooh, good point about the lines. That's something I should have paid more attention to.

I am always ready to help. Because I like you I will let you in on my secret, if you want to get a hold of me, drop me a note. They get priority, I take care of my mom, so when I have down time I would rather read a note and look at something I like than the stacks that have come in from some Clubs.

Thanks again, that means a lot to hear. IDK, I feel like there's something more to be done on it, but after working on a picture for a while you end up feeling a fatigue, you know? I think a break and some sketching will make me realize what the picture's missing.

I understand, although unlike you, I'm not smart enough to step away and leave it alone. I keep going until I muck it up entirely.
Well, I'm not sure what it's missing, but I enjoy the sketchy feel of it. It gives it a flow and motion to the image. It's a softer side to her. Her right hand looks like it is reaching out toward the viewer and her eyes are staring directly at the viewer.
Like I said, I'm not sure what would be missing, but I think I agree with the comment about her far hand (which I think is her left, I have trouble figuring this out on other people). Something seems strange about the angle of it, like it should be resting against something (as it is) and there's nothing there. I'm not that great at anatomy, so sometimes I have to try sitting/standing/doing the pose I'm trying to draw, just to see if it's actually comfortable and a human could do it, and the angle for the far arm felt funny to me. Maybe consider dropping it down to a more relaxed position to go with the general mood of the piece? I'm not much of an artist, but maybe this helps? If not, feel free to ignore the crazy commenter.

I think you're right about the hand positioning, I think I Just have to think about what kind of mood I want the picture to give off. I think that to get the hand ot look right, perhaps I ought to pose in front of a mirror for a bit. XD
