I have always been a Star Trek fan, but having grown up with TNG I didn't discover TOS until the release of the 2009 movie. Now I am afraid to say that I like TOS the best out of all the Star Trek shows. But I love ALL STAR TREK!Anyway, here I have drawn Betty Boop as Lieutenant Uhura!
Look, she even has her communication receiver earpiece!

Do you think if you had a "communication receiver" you would cover it - or the bit that goes in your ear - with your hair and why?

I drew her hair like that on purpose. Sometimes Uhura has two long pieces of hair on either side of her face, so that's what I was trying to do with Betty's hair. But don't worry....Lieutenant Betty can still send and recieve subspace transmissions with no problem!
