Yuri/Yaoi = Basically a Porn Genre, literally means plotless and meaningless Gay/Lesbian Porn. Usually contains Rape, Incest, Pedophilla and other fucked up shit.

Shoujo-ai/Shounen-ai = Is Cutesy Gay/Lesbian Romance, actually has plot and meaning but no sexual content. This one is sometimes more realistic than yaoi/yuri.

Real Life Homosexuals = They're real people with realistic everyday personalities- no different from straight couples honestly. The only difference being interested in the same sex instead of the opposite

Yuri/Yaoi = Very Unrealistic Relationships
Shoujo-ai/Shounen-ai = Unrealistic or Realistic Relationships
IRL Lesbians/Gays = Realistic Relationships

If you want to ship Twilight and AJ then call it Shoujo-ai instead of Yuri.

I Hate incest parings. I don't get what's so good about them. Even itacest. Blehhh.  I can't stand pinecest either. They are fucking family!! I only ship people together if they actually MAKE sense, and have some sort of special relationship. I also ship straight parings like, Sonamy, Silvaze, Nalu, and Arnold x Helga. But yeah, Gerita is my OTP.

Yeah exactly! I mean--
They're siblings why in the hell would anyone ship a [brother/sister] with [his/her] [twin/older/younger] [sister/brother]?! And who gives a damn if they're fictional or not, it still doesn't make it right! How would they feel if they had a brother/sister and someone shipped them together? I really doubt they'd like that. 

And I only ship canon/semi-canon ships (Austria x Hungary, Taiga x Ryuuji, Ymir x Krista/Historia, Jellal x Erza, etc.) tbh cause in the end with fanon ships... all I get is disappointment. Although I have to admit Gerita and Nalu are adorable fanon ships c':

I actually used to hate USUK, but somehow it grew on me for some reason. I just love the two together. I watched the episode of their past and stuff. I don't blame people who hate USUK. They have like a brotherly relationship.

There's actually just as much yuri for women as there is for men. The publication Comic Yuri Hime, for example, specializes in yuri for women and girls. 

Revolutionary Girl Utena, Maria Mite, Onii-Sama e, and Aoi Hana are all really good yuri mangas that are not at all fetishized and potray lesbian relationships very realisticly. 

Unfortunately, good manga and anime featuring male-male couples are harder to find. The only ones I can think of are Gravitation, Yuri on Ice, and My Brother's Husband, but I'm sure there are more hidden gems out there.

in real life, you are hetero/gay/lesbian, and you will be with the gender you love

yaoi/yuri/hetero, they take hetero characters/gay/lesbian and ship them what a character of the same gender or the other gender, if the character is hetero (so he like girls) they will ship him/her with another boy/girl, but it's ooc because they are not gay/lesbian, same when they take gay/lesbian character and ship them with the opposite gender,

there's a big difference between anti-gay and anti-yaoi,

anti-gay, you dont like them and dont think they deserve hetero right,

anti-yaoi, you dislike to see a hetero character with another character of the same gender because they are not gay/lesbian. same if they are gay/lesbian and ship them with a boy/girl.
