Jinxx’s P.O.V.
It had been three days since Andy had went to see his family without us and I was still trying to get used to just me and Ash sleeping together. When I woke one night, I heard the sounds of tight breathing and felt the bed moving. I was all the way to the right instead of in the middle like I was supposed to be. When I looked to see ash, he was rolling around and crying in the middle of another nightmare. As his screams got louder and louder, I tried harder and harder to wake him until I heard him scream the word no. I punched his arm and he woke, sitting ramrod straight up in bed.
“Ashey baby, its okay. You’re home, you’re home, it was just a nightmare.” I said. I was no stranger to Ash’s nightmares, seeing as they happened once or twice a month. I had gotten better and better at comforting him like Andy did, but I still hated seeing my Brown Eyed Vixen all scared and vulnerable. He looked at me wildly for a second before throwing his arms around my neck and letting out a shuddering sob. I pulled myself into his lap and he screamed and cried while I busied myself running my fingertips over the stars on his back. He screamed something I knew was important, but I wasn’t sure what it was.
“What was that baby?”
“I want Andy.” He repeated, sounding like a child that wanted their mommy.
“Ash, Andy is in Ohio.”
“I want Andy”, he screamed again, tightening his grip around my neck as he screamed and cried the same sentence over and over again. I knew my phone was downstairs, but wasn’t sure about what to do with Ash. His cries ripped me to shreds inside, him missing Andy. We both couldn’t wait until Andy came home, but Ash didn’t like to be so vocal about things like that.
After about twenty minutes of comforting, Ash finally calmed down, just holding onto me like I was a blanket and he was Linus. Gently, I pulled away from him and he looked at me in fear. I tucked a piece of hair behind his ear and he looked down at his lap. I placed my hand on his stomach and he looked at me again.
“Hey Ash,” I said and he looked at me in the dark. “Listen Baby, my phone is downstairs. Do you want me to go get it? See if Andy is still awake?” I asked in a way that you would talk to a child. He nodded slowly, reluctantly releasing his grip on me. I climbed out of bed and made my way down to the kitchen. I pulled both of our phones off the chargers and unlocked mine, calling Andy.
“Hi Jinxxy, What’s up?” he asked as he answered. I took a deep breath.
“Um, Ashley had a really bad nightmare again.” I said, practically seeing his face in my head, falling in sadness. Andy had a bi of a martyr complex when it came to the people he loved, always trying to take their burden upon himself.
“Oh, my poor baby.” He said and I started to make my way back upstairs.

Ashley’s P.O.V.
I sat in the middle of out bed, alone with my knees pressed to my chest. The memory of my nightmare was still fresh in my mind and I was shaking from the cold in the room. I heard Jinxx making his way back upstairs and talking softly into his phone. I saw Jinxx open the door and come back over to me.
“Yeah, he’s right here.” Jinxx said. “Hey Ash?” he said back to me “Andy’s on the phone. You want to talk to him?” he asked. I nodded and hummed, letting go of my legs and reaching out for the phone.
“Hi Ashley.” He said when he heard my breathing.
“H-Hi Andy.” I said back to him, my voice shaking. Still, I was relieved to hear his voice
“Jeremy said that you had a nightmare.” He told me and I hummed again.
“You wanna talk about it baby?” he asked.
“O-Okay.” I got out, my voice hoarse. I saw Jinxx looking around before he turned to go. I grabbed his hand and he looked at me in surprise I pulled his hand and he sat down on the bed next to me and laid the both of us back. I felt his lips press to the top of my head and relaxed, having Andy on the other end. “Well, I had the abduction dream again. B-But this time, J-Jinxx got away. A-And we were in the back of this van. A-And they taped both of our mouths and t-this one guy, h-he was pulling back your head and tracing the veins in your neck with this knife.” I took a deep breath.
“Don’t worry baby, I’m still here.” He said. I felt bad about making him feel this way, but I couldn’t help it.
“Well, he pulled off your jeans and I saw……he tried to…..but I wouldn’t let him. And the guy told me that if I tried anything, you would get it. And I still didn’t let him. And…And he…h-he slit your throat.” I got out, breaking off into a sob.
“Oh baby, I’m sorry.” He said as I cried, Jinxx rubbing my shoulders. “Baby, it’s okay, it was just a dream” he cooed. I only cried for a few minutes before calming down.
“I miss you Andy.” I whined.
“I-I miss you too baby.” I said, pulling Jinxx even closer to me. He nuzzled his face into the curve of my neck, making me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. “C-Come home.” I stuttered.
“Soon baby. Very soon.”
“Andy?”
“Yes?”
“I-I love you”
“Awe baby, I love you too.”
“Will you sing me to sleep?” I asked, feeling like a little kid again.
“Of course, baby.” He laughed. I was last aware of the sound of his voice singing Savior very softly to me as I fell asleep.

Jinxx’s P.O.V.
“Thanks Andy.” I said after I was sure that Ash was asleep.
“Of course sweetie.” He said in a voice that could give you a cavity.
“I love you Andy.”
“Love you Jeremy” he said.
“I love you too Andy.” Ash said thickly through his sleep. I smiled at him as he drifted back into his sleep, glad that he could rest easy again. I could hear Andy smiling into his phone as he hung up.
