Clicking through new photos on the wall and I stopped right here at this picture of this "angry kitty". I can tell that I had to look at it few times, staring at the photo watching this powerful expression of this animal. I was amazed by its impact on me and looking at your comments and views, it seems that this photo has the same impact on most of us. We are all aware of how beautiful these predators are and even at their young age, they can scare the soul out of you. Our minds know the danger and there are goosebumps on my skin looking at this photo.
Technically there is nothing I could possibly mark as "needs improvement". The depth of field is just on its face (not only the eyes!) which is probably the smartest way to capture this angry look and I can imagine that if it was only the eyes sharp, it might have made a difference to the overall impact. The colours, crop and and angle are all in harmony.
I suppose that it also required some luck to catch the right moment. I wonder how close you can get to these animals and how risky is this moment for you to take such a picture. All credits to you.
I believe that the quality of this photo is so remarkable that this could come up on a huge billboard of the Zoo in CZ or anywhere else in the world. This photo has so many levels and interpretations - the animal speaks right through the photo to your heart and his eyes catch you and don't let you go without thinking.
It is one of the best photos I have ever seen.

There is always something that needs improvement for example I can now see after few days that colours are too saturate.
Majority of photos of in my gallery has been took at zoos, but still I have very much opportunities to meet them pretty closely. Cubs in cage, adult cats - me stick to the cage with camera and pay attention to other cats that I'm not focused on.
Yes it requires some luck too, but mainly good camera with high fps, fast focus and it can take some hits from the cub.
I would love too have this or any photo on some zoo billboard, but most of the zoos want to have their animal on it and they have their own photographers to do it. Once I saw on Prague zoo website that they are looking for photographer with GCSE, well I guess there wont be such opportunity when I graduate.

I think you have a good chance if you stick to your lovely hobby and if you have the strength to keep up the level you have reached and go beyond that!
