Her parents, who had died a few years earlier, had not only left her the house, but a substantial portfolio of securities and property. The answer was probably that she still missed her parents. She felt that she could use the company; things had been too quiet for too long. Unfortunately, it looked like things would stay quiet; the phone didn’t ring for what seemed an eternity.
