YES I wrote Nitemare like that on purpose. Cuz it's keeyooteBut really, she got into that whole 'Pirate' phase and thanks to her mom, an enchanted piece of parchmin and a couple of props, she has her own 'poster'
So yeah, I was writing on my Pirate Mares story when I wanted to have some fun and it just popped in my mind. I like Nyx's character.. one that is litterally 'born yesterday'. Enjoy :3

She actually is and has always been Nightmare Moon. Past Sins IS about Nyx and thus was how Nyx came to exist in the first place. Read it to see for yourself.

That wouldn't apply to Nyx's universe, since in her universe Nightmare Moon was basically sperated from Luna, and thus Nyx was born like maybe 2 years after that had happened.

Yes, but he wrote "the one and only ex-Nightmare Moon." Luna was Nightmare Moon once, too. So there should be 2 ex-Nightmare Moons. Oh, wait. Can't forget Nightmare Rarity. 3 ex-Nightmare Moons.

Well, the thing is that Luna was n't really Nightmare Moon in the Past Sin's Universe. She was just tooken over by her rage and selfishness and thus became Nightmare Moon. But nightmare Moon became a full living pony when she was reincarnated from those cultist ponies. Not to mention it was said that Nightmare Moon had been completely torn from Luna, and thus was the results of those armor shreds. I'm basing this off of Past Sins cannon. Also, Nightmare Rarity isn't cannon to Past Sins.

You realize that Past Sins has a place on the canon MLP timeline before it branches off into an AU, right?
This actually happens during season 3. Meaning, everything that happened before is canon to the Past Sins universe.
Luna and Rarity are BOTH canon ex-Nightmare Moons.
Even if you don't believe that, Luna continually mentions that she was Nightmare Moon in Past Sins. Meaning she was ex-Nightmare Moon.

Yes but Nightmare Moon was seperated from Luna in the show. Nightmare Moon may be Luna, but she ends up beocming a indipendent mare once she got her own body in the Past Sins universe. I don't see how Nightmare Moon colud be releated to Rarity though. If you could shed some light on that to show that she's actually canoned to Ex-Nightmare Moon, such proof from the show or creators, then you've provened me wrong.

Just because Nyx became separate from Luna doesn't mean Luna wasn't Nightmare Moon in the past. That still happened, so Luna is ex-Nightmare Moon.
In the comic series, Rarity becomes Nightmare Rarity because the forces that turned Luna into Nightmare Moon tricked her. It's the second arc of the comic series, comics 5-8.
