I've been itching to make a piece that resembled both winter and spring at once; the circle of what's beginning and what's ending to give way to one another if you will. This is a hairpiece with attached, hanging raccoon tail bones. It clips in with a single barrette.Materials: Bronze, Copper, Grey Fox Skull, Rhinestones, Feathers, Silk Flowers, Glass Pearls, Abalone, Crystals, Raccoon Tail Bones

if I may ask you, I always wondered - where do you get the bones and sculls? do you buy them, or just like, pick up somewhere in the woods, and they have a story to them?

It's actually both. I have friends that are hunters and they bring me the pieces they don't use, I buy them from other hunters, or I find them when I'm out in the woods. My cat also brings them home sometimes haha. I heard a deer scream once out in the woods when it was caught and eaten by coyotes. My siblings stumbled across what was left of the skeleton a few weeks later and I brought it up and cleaned it. Itching to do something with it since most of the spine and skull are still intact.
