Ohh, I think I do not have so much experience that would give someone advice on how to sell adopts~
I just try to choose interesting themes, add more details (even the first thing that comes to mind) and then just load into a large number of groups and wait for the person who wants to buy a character I don't know any other ways how to increase sales. I think this depends on the number of people interested in your work.
Be creative, make unusual adopts and everything will be fine
