Description Finished painting of Dead Nettle. The plant that looks notoriously like stinging nettles, but in fact does not sting at all, hence the name "Dead Nettle"

hmm maybe. I did want to keep it muted down and more brown in tone but I do know the 'flatness' some of my plants tend to take on. maybe I will experiment with varying greens and see if I can figure out how to keep a muted tone and still make the plant pop out. thanks!

I did not know it is poisonous
I think you did good job on the plant is is easy to recognise from your drawing and the background is just fine looks like it is a page from an old old book I like how you painted it but since you ask for critique I think you could have added more different hues of greens for it looks a little flat to me but well it is just my opinion...
