It was a trip to the local nursery that provided the inspiration for this piece. I really wanted to find some fun, new flowers for my garden and --incidently-- I had just watched the Huldufólk:102 documentary the evening before and so it was fresh on my mind yet. Wandering around through the rows and endless rows of sweet smelling blooming choices, I thought that maybe I just ....
... was it a trick of the mind?
... Surely it wasn’t for real? There ...there ... playfully swinging out of the corner of my eye.

This would make an adorable framed print for a young girls' bedroom! You've done a wonderful job at drawing in the eye and making you look twice. The watercolor touch is especially nice, as is the "out of frame feet."

It would be interesting to see a series of flower fairies done in this style. Lilacs are in bloom now - how about a bunch of lilac pixies?

Oh it's very pretty! I love how at first it looks like a ordinary flower, but as you take a closer look and make it into a bigger view, it's not! That is genius!

It's really cool how u did this. I didn't even notice the blossoms and flowers were people until I actual looked at it a second time. I love how u blended them in but they are also kind of in the background. Great work
