That would be what we call a "tongue" in the English language. In fact I'm fairly certain that every culture has some word to describe that object inside the mouth of every human. Say it with me. "Tongue." Not "thumb." Now the next time someone opens their mouths, you won't look confused and sound ignorant anymore!

I FINALLY FOUND YOU !!!!!!!! been following you and mad since the first Battele chasers, so happy to find you and know that you both are working together again. you two are the best team i have ever seen in comic and it was you guys who brought me back into comics when i was tired of super heroes. sad to see chasers go but i still am buying anything i can find that has yours and MAD's works. was so sad when you both left the comic scene. i am happy thatyou both are working in a area that you like and i hope the game industry treats you both great, you desereve i. if i see a game done with either of yours works you know i will be all over it good luck again and just know to many of us you are leaveing behind a legecy of awsome works that wont be filleby anyone .

Just picked up the first 2 issues today and get up to the counter and the guy at the comic book store tells me #3 is coming out tommorow lol...ohh well back to the store tommorow

Picked up this book yesterday. I love the work on caps head it gives a true impression of volume your work with shadows and higlites is also very evident later on in the book on cap's shiels, that looks layered and enbossed rather than limply smooth and flat.
Awsome all around!
If I had one criticism: I would say on the printed version of the cover, the orange tones used for sabertooth make him look really washed out and without depth specialy agains the light yellow background. And the "March on Ultimates" header in red and cropping Sabertooth are really killing all the good work in this image. My 2 cents

Whenever I see new pencils by Madureira I get excited and think "Hey, I am going to color that!". Then right after I usually see the colored version, and that it has the best comic coloring period, and I think "Well ... whatever I do now is going to look stupid." Thanks a lot.

Either way man listen, please donβt take what I said the wrong way, itβs just my opinion on the more recent stuff you've done. And on that note, thanks for being cool about it, because I hate reading anything negative about my stuff and Im quick to flip out on people and get real negative, so thanks for not doing that.
And listen man, this new stuff you and Mad are doing is still WAY better than about 99% of anything else out there right now. And I love seeing you guys back on top and I love to see anything new you guys put together.
So Ill admit the only reason for ANYBODY to have anything negative to say about any of your newer work is the fact that we have very unfair/unreasonable expectations for anything you and Joe Mad work on based on the amazing work you two have done in the past. So I guess you set that bar a little too high now people expect you to blow them away every time. Honestly its not fair, but it is what is..
Anyway fuck it man, let me stop typing...... keep doing what youβre doing, honestly the new stuff is looks cool, I just grew up on the old liquid so thatβs what Im gonna like better.

I loved EVE and I'm proud of these pages just as much as I was of anything else I've ever done. Every time I do work I try my best - sometimes people will like it, and sometimes they won't.
I don't think this is Joe's fault. The coloring/painting is me.
Keep in mind, that I've done the old school look - we invented it. I just want to try new things and push myself.

Hey Christian, what might you be working on after these five issues? anymore stuff with Joe Mad perhaps?

I don't have any plans to be doing anything after this, however most likely I'll be focusing on working in games. So this is my only stint in comics for the forseeable future. Can't speak for Joe - but this run is for 5 issues.
