I'm not really sure how art trades work but said she'd draw Katara with Aang if someone drew Lei, which from what I have researched is Zuko and Katara's first child.
Anyway here is what I came up with. Can you imagine being a suitor at the Fatherlord's household? Of course you can't because if you're a girl you're like, "Duh when would I ever go a'courting at the Firelord's house?" and if you're a boy you're like, "No way I'm admitting I'm looking at this photo. What am I even doing here?"
What's up with Lei's hair? Is she in a Pantene commercial or what?
The ragamuffin is a member of the White Lock, an organization I've created that Sokka, Suki and Toph spend a lot of time beating the crap out of. Dangling participle?

As a Lei fan myself, this made me laugh. The dialogue is perfect. Perhaps Katara is remembering her brief time with a rebel and is wanting to spare her daughter the same experience? And Zuko... well the Fatherlord would not be pleased with any boy sniffing around his baby girl.
The skull in the water is just the icing on the cake. Bravo, good sir, bravo.

Yeah this was fun, though I don't know much about Lei, but the sentiments here are pretty much universal to parents and children. I might get up to coloring this.
I went over to Houtian a few times, but to be honest the story arcs I was reading made me feel bad. I don't really like the idea of Katara cheating on Aang, getting pregnant with Zuko's baby and all that jazz. I was never really very positively inclined towards Katara and that stuff made me kind of hate her. Most of what I read there made Aang into a putz too, a smooze, a cuckold. That's a lame twist if you ask me, which you didn't, but there it is anyway. Plus I don't actually support Zutara.
I probably don't know what I'm talking about as I only spent an hour or so poking around there. Also how does one "play" there? I don't actually understand what goes on there.

Honestly I'm still trying to figure it out, but I like the drawings people (like Windy and Drisela) do from it. It's pretty confusing to me since I don't do roleplaying. Never really appealed to me I guess.
I won't go into the whole Zutara/Kataang thing since we obviously have our preferences.

It kind of puts me in mind of the bit in Tom Clancy's "The Bear and the Dragon" about the problems President Jack Ryan's eldest daughter was having dating with the Secret Service always hanging around.
ZUKO: I want you to understand that I won't kill you if I see you doing anything inappropriate with Lei.
BOY: Um... Thank you, sir.
KATARA: However, you will be begging for death before the end.
BOY: ... Meep!
LEI: Dad! Mom! Stop kidding around!
ZUKO and KATARA: We're not.

Yeah except this guy is actually a real punk. The White Lock (cause them hars is all white) is involved in all kinds of clandestine endeavors, many of which leave bodies behind. He's a lower ranking roob but working the Firelord's daughter is perhaps more business than pleasure.
