Thank you so much I allso noticed you were back ..You look very different to me btw we have been so busy, it's crazy... I remember the time when deviant art wasn't this crazy

Hehe you're telling me I came back and everything you can imagine is happening. Its like a buzzing mini-city here now And yeah, I've put on about 25kg in the past 8 months So I'm not surprised LOL

You did??? holy **** .. I wouldn't say that much.. your face has just changed or somethin' ... ah well... the new stock pictures look good anyways And you are totally right a mini city... and you wouldn't believe all the new stock artists... a lot of studio-stock etc... it's getting harder and harder to keep up..
cookiekitty-stock In reply to Lisajen-stock [2008-08-08 08:57:25 +0000 UTC]
Sad but true The face thing is probably from the extra weight too The shape kind of shifted from 'heart' to 'round You know you started the trend for studio-style, right? When you started getting backdrops and stuff everyone else went out and bought them too. So if we look at it THAT way - you created a monster

no.. we just had an empty wall.... and a black piece of fabric.. we still don't have a backdrop it's just some crappy fabric that cost us about 6$.. just barely the size we need... when she uses an umbrella We allways have to pay attention it doesn't stick out ... or the hoop ... that's a problem too...I think the studio thing was born with mrjramstock (don't know how to spell it) hehe , ot's not that round.. your eyes and everything looks different... but I kinda like it.. I love the new pictures , so no problem there and they are very good quality!

:s It always looked like a real backdrop. Well, I think the fabric really did the trick anyhow Because everyone was just using their old daggy white sheets at the time I understand what you mean though. My grey backdrop isn't bit enough either so I'm currently trying to see how to make it bigger... without actually MAKING it bigger And MJRanum actually has a studio - since he's a professional photographer. He's the lucky one out of all of us And he has a whole troop of models to work with too Thanks so much for the compliment I remember when you first came on the scene I was so envious of you two because you had the coolest costumes, the best poses, and the best themes I still am actually

We sometime add some grey with photoshop.. that helps too ... well we envy him... and I saw some new studio stock pop up here and there. But I see us as the hard-core stockers... still using crappy things and making the best out of it lol... envious of us .. that's funny , we allways hated that you have amazing quality images... we cannot get rid of all that grain in our photo's And in the beginning we didn't have costumes, we just put on a dress, over that dress a skirt, a top, some other stuff and ... BOOM ... costume ... just the last few months we have been able to buy a few real costumes because we both have jobs now ... but we still cannot buy stuff like *mizzd-stock ... She must have a fortune.... It's hard to believe she is getting so many donations while we don't even get any without allmost begging for it And just a little tip... it's not all about costumes, get some gloves or something... that is our secret.... gOOD props!.. it makes normal clothing LOOK like a costume But we will explane is a huge journal ... giving away our secret ingredients you allso inspired us to do sci fi-stock soon... we wanted to do it for so long... fantasy stock is coming out of my ears .... but it's what the people want most.. fairies

I've been using the lasso tool in photoshop to even out the grey in my background as well Great minds think alike You know - the high quality was really luck I have bought all this equipment to help bump the quality but it still is nothing compared to when I was at the old house and had perfect natural lighting, heaps of space and no need for a backdrop I guess the best things in life really ARE free If you have problems with grain though - try keeping ISO at around 200. I'm going to do a tutorial up for making light reflectors and umbrella lights too if you're interested in that stuf I know what you mean about *mizzd-stock . I LOVE her costumes and they would cost a PACKET. I think all the artists on the site are just buying her exclusive and none from the rest of us I mean, heck... even *I* bought one of her packs But I needed the poison ivy stock for a project I was doing.I will definitely take your tips. I managed to put the steampunk set together that way So I'll need to take another look at my wardrobe and see what else I can randomly throw together. Will be much easier now I have the petticoat as well I WANT TO SEEEEEEEE!!! When you upload that sci-fi stock I will be pouncing on your account
