Right now I'm kinda struggling on to draw something - unsuccessfully.

But not being able to draw something is really annoying. I have that sometimes too, and with me it always helps if I just doodle for a few days. And when I feel I can draw something bigger, I try and most if the times it works ^^
I don't know if it works for you, but I'm just saying

Well, I was trying to doodle from time to time, but whatever it was that I managed to draw - it looked terrible, I've been making huge anatomy mistakes and such. Whole lot of things I didn't do normally, when I started drawing. Shaping muzzles, rotating the heads, bending the paws - everything I was able to handle, to cope with somehow. Until now.
Anyway, your solution sounds reasonable.
