Description The leaves parted and another naga slithered into view. This male was of slighter build than the powerful firstcomer, wiry rather than muscular. The lines of intricate spiral tattoos travelled his slim upper body, the ink as black as his long scaled tail. Around his waist, he wore a belt with various pouches and a long-bladed knife, and a staff hung with feathers and metal symbols was strapped to his back.

Jadok is a naga character from a text-based forum roleplay. A real meanie, and a mage.

Wow, his tail is awesome! That’s a lot of details. And the white part almost looks like armour.
I also really love his face. It really sucks you in
I like how shine and sharp you’ve made the weapons look. Very cool Those can be hard to pull off. Lol, at least they are to me xD

See now why I can relate to your lamenting the amount of scales one has to do with these nagas? There are just so many! (It's almost worse than having to do feathered wings!)

It was actually my own snakes which inspired the white underside, with the overlapping plates, though I took many artistic liberties.

Oooh, able to look at live reff. Me, I have to search for pictures on the net. I've even done research just to find it more information about certain sorts of snakes xD

Gosh, I love feather wings. They are just sooo beautiful. I draw them far less then I should. Lately all I've made is nagas and merpeople. Lol. Not good for me since I really, really need to prectise making legs. Ahhhh, the lament...
