These are a pair of my numerous OC's from a longstanding storyline. This is Alex and Kaname (she once went by Meilin). Kaname is an angel (thus the white feathers) forced to take mortal form as punishment. She had watched over a sick child who went into arrest- she did nothing to stop it- instead she watched fascinated by the whole process. So she was sent to take human form to understand what she had had done wrong. Originally Kaname took the form of a young asian man whom long story short fell in love with Alex. However (due to events that i will not disclose here) he later changes to a woman form.

This is gorgeous... I really love the expressiveness of their faces and poses. The colors are nice and rich, which I like too.

I still have room for improvement but I am glad you think so ^^. Yeah I am a bit of a detail freak at times ^^ but detail is something i added as I got more and more familiar with drawing ^^

This is something that, I wonder how long it took. I don't know which detail one should start looking at; there are many.

It took about 10 hours including an extra 2 whilst on a plane XD.

Yeah I did the finishing touches whilst on a plane to Australia since this was a gift for a friend.

It is difficult to have the right pressure while on a flight I suppose, unless the plane was parked when you were drawing, was it?

I am considering either writing the story up as a manga or novel to put on here at some point. Its a very wide universe tho so it will take up time XD. Just never put it up on here cos I was never sure there was want for it XD

To be honest I don't read the literature on DA. But if you do a manga, I'll definitely read it. But I understand it taking some time. I've only done 2 pages for my webcomic just cuz I'm doing so many things at a time and I'm not a multitasker.

True true, my 2nd page was crazy time-consuming cuz the 2nd panel that was full page was my first time structuring a village. Aye yai yai that took forever, then I did another layer and blocked most of my hard work.
