Because everyone else is doing it, I guess. Ha ha. Seriously though, it's pichu hat. I learned like I'm sure almost everyone learned to make one from clearkid's tutorial, which is amazing by the way. I figured out the pichu parts on my own, not that it was tough. Any picture of pichu will help you figure it out.It's big on me but was meant for my fiance anyway. As always.
Pokemon and other characters belong to Nintendo and I am a nerdy fan

All the faces pieces are felt glued on. For the black outline of the mouth and the white shine in the eyes, I just used that 3-D paint.

I use hot glue. Fabric glue might work too. I've never used it myself but, since it is made for fabric, I'd hope it should work.

Oh no this one is better because it is symmetry at its finest or near finest. I have few complaints about this one. Made few mess ups that time around. I've had lots of requests for hats since I started from the people living nearby. But truly it's not hard.

Well like I said in the other picture, the lack of eye symmetry isn't really noticable in the picture to me.
That's neat that you're getting requests fromt he neighbors though for it. What kind of hats have you been asked to make? All Pokemon, or different kinds?

I've made umbreon and have been requested to do sandslash, flareon, eevee and others. At a party for Aaron's little sister, she had a pikachu one like mine and lots of kids wanted a pikachu too and I'm like no way am I making 20 of these for kids with no money who will probably ruin them playing with them

That sounds like a lot of hats. 
You could always make a Zim one to go with the Gir hat. Or hey, you could make a Dog Gir hat (or just normal Gir if the one you have IS Dog Gir)

I DID get paid for the Umbreon hat. I think sewing is the one thing I'm good at, even if the things I make aren't great, it is the only thing I can sit down and just do for hours without getting bored. I think it would be a fun job.
