Oh, Walter White…what a bastard you’ve become.Wanted to draw this dude for awhile. The craggy roadmap of the lines on his face interest me…decided to ink with technical pen so that I could get across the texture I had in mind.

He had my sympathy for longer than he should have...I find myself hating him and yet completely understanding how his underlying flaws led him here. Good writing!

you see that line being walked from the moment he let Jesse's girl friend die of the overdose, it was such a well developed scene that really shook me, you know?

Yeah, completely. That's the first major, inexcusably fucked up thing that he had to rationalize to cope with. He's been rationalizing increasingly horrible things ever since. I like to compare it to that first murder in his basement. When that happened he was on the verge of tears, saying he was sorry...he's just numbed since then. He was borderline serene when he offed you-know-who by the river.
Damn this show! I just know that everybody I want to make it out okay is going to die horribly and poetically.
