SLEEP OPTIONAL :U ! Rarrrr! If I keep staying up till 3 am to finish stuff I might start to look like Fujimoto! The bags under my eyes are bad enough as it is.This is Ponyo's mum and dad from the Miyazaki move of the same name. Why am I attracted to the most random and weird dudes from movies/anime/etc...and the side characters/parents more than the actual main character whoever?
Who knows. I'm crazy. Either way these two are adorable as hell.

Hmm, Elixyr tea...tasty yet tart? Granmamere looks surprisingly natural with a teacup in her hand. She looks excited too--maybe Fujimoto has made her a delicious new blend to try? I like how confident and tall you've drawn Fujimoto as well. Obviously the later years if we can judge by your story. 
I really enjoyed reading your fanfiction by the way. You filled in a lot of unanswered questions in the movie about how this couple got together, how Fujimoto used to be human, but despises his own kind. I also like how you built the relationship between him and 'Mamere.' I especially like the image of her disguising as a human girl. I may try drawing that sometime...

When she came along I thought, okayyy how on earth could he had slept with her to have fish human babies? and then she shrunk herself and I went... ah, THATS how!! 
Fujimoto was prob my favourite character from Ponyo, I dunno why, maybe it was his personality, caring, compassionate, and yet amusing... and I liked his appearance for some odd reason too, haha, I'm just as sane as you are...all my friends thought I was weird for liking his character while we all were watching it 
He was a good Dad too, he tried to protect Ponyo, I loved that moment when he called Ponyo "sweetheart" and tried to calm her down, but the poor thing had to put up with his daughters rebellion XD
"Respect your fathaa!" just made me crack up. Poor Fujimoto...

Fujimoto was the best character (sorry, Ponyo, it's nothing personal) He was caring, fun and he had a really cool desgin. If I didn't already have my Halloween costume planned out, I would be Fujimoto, though I'm a girl. This couple is very sweet. I can't wait to read your fanfiction!
