the top and the eyes... the top was actually blue - but I wanted it to match the eye shadow...

It's a smokey eyes technique I learned from a makeup artist.... And my faithful pal photoshop

its a lovely effect. i am somewhat stupid when it comes to that so i just take dark things and put it on there. >.<

I copy from vogue. Analyse the shading of eyeshadow...
But with this one I was just mucking about to see what I could come up with...

This is one of those photos that looks so much better in colour than it would b+w; the makeup is fantastic for the pose and the contrast of hair-skin-makeup-clothes is just right. I also like the subtle focus that softens on the neck/hair. Very nice job!
