Description
My WIP painting-Well I thought I would post my progress. I went through several hair versions before I was satisfied. I know there are more things to do to her, but right now I am tired of working on it. I may pick it up and finish it later.

Oh geez. This was one of my first paintings so it was the hard round brush and the soft brush that are both defaults in photoshop. Hope that helps!

Cute and pretty face, long voluptuous legs, superbly displayed and a sword designed for chopping. "Hey, Harthor, we got room in the party for an elven sorceress who swings a mean sword? Yeah, she's gorgeous, but that ain't got nothing to do with signing her on." (Right!)

This one I did use the soft round brush, but I didn't have very good settings. Now I use different settings, and I prefer the hard round brush for the build up of paint and then the round for the finishing touches.
And I did go to art school but I have been drawing portraits for 12 years. XD

She's beeeeeautiful! Though, there's something a little...off? about her arms, particularly the fully-visible one. Don't ask me what it is xD Maybe just zoom in and out and check the proportions a little? I don't know. It might not be that. If you didn't change anything it'd be a minor detail, she's really gorgeous.

No I definitely want to adjust the proportions. For starters the hand is too big and the forearm is too small. The thigh is too big too, but I'll get arund to it later. Thanks though.

Oh, good...I'm not seeing things LoL! I just...Pyro always makes the hands on her dolls and drawings what seem to me to be so large, and yet they fit...but something seemed off. I think it's that she also usually adjusts the arms so they're thin but long (like her own arms).
Anyway, can't wait to see how she turns out!

I wish I had your skill! I've been using Photoshop since version 6 and I still am not comfortable enough with the tools to create anything this fabulous!

Only a couple! Everything is on one layer except the lineart which is on a separate layer. XD

Only a couple? .__. You're godly. How do you do it, seriously? I'd be paranoid of getting something wrong, and it always does and then I'm thankful for mah layers, but wow. I need to practice, apparently.

Yeah I used to have lots of layers, until a professor at college in my digital illustration class would rag on me. He said what you do is save multiple versions and continue to merge then if you mess up you can go to your previous file. Sometimes it can be annoying, like the hair is merged with everything and I actually don't like it so I'll have to painstakingly paint over it.
Oh I forgot, the background is a separate layer too. I'll revisit it later, when I am almost done.

My lawd DD: How do you do that.. if it's harder, wouldn't it be better to continue with the layers? Or was there a reason for him not liking the whole layer thing, maybe the layers because confusing or something? -shrugs- Confusing me now.. LOL! Rah.
