I started out to paint cloud boats in clouds or showers very vaguely, just putting down blotches of colors and shaping them into something with the clouds. Things got a little too detailed, or the showers moved off, depending on how you want to look at it, so we have this picture of floating lighters over Calcutta's harbor, the Hooghly instead. I'll try again for ships in the clouds and showers the next time.
