Tools: Photoshop, tablet, mouseI have been slacking on this. I did ten and then I stopped making any progress for a while. I think I was frustrated because my pachi was sucking so much and I almost gave up.
I wrote a journal asking for suggestions, ~SingingPenguin asked for empoleon so here he is. He was harder than the others I've done in this project so far but not as hard as I thought he'd be. He came out kind of chibi but I like the end result.
And looking at the state of the gallery I just realized this is the first fourth gen pokemon I've done for this. ._.

[Vision]:
The vision is itself not quite special, but is none the less not beautiful. The physical characteristics of this pokemon are at their essential state, make the whole drawing way less dense than the actual imagery we make ourselves of it.
[Originality]:
The drawing isn't original, considering that it represents a pokemon. But the vision combined with the technique still brings an original result, making the drawing different from it's source.
[Technique]:
It was on that part I was the most impressed. This work is one of your best, and the technique seems mastered. I can easily imagine you drawing any of the pokemons using the same technique. In other terms: it looks professional!
[Impact]:
It's hard to bring a certain impact with a drawing of a pokemon. But the drawing, by it's unique aspect, still has a little impact, showing us a new vision of something we mostly all are used to see.
[PS: English is not my first language, so sorry for any mistakes... And I hope you will still understand what I try to say in each category! Haha!]

I assure you, you technique is truly mastered in this drawing! Your gallery is nice, but this drawing in particular is even better.

I wouldn't see you as a copycat either way. A lot of people have tried to draw them all.

I am too. It was unintentional but I think it works better. But then chibi and cute is just easier for me than what he normally looks like (which is still cute but not like cutesy cute).
