For those who are curious, here's a link to show how it looked before I started messing with it (and shows what it's for): [link]

The only vehicle I truly wanted out of the whole set once actual vehicles were introduced was this one. The Bug. Blue Beetle's ship. And not the new Blue Beetle, but MY Blue Beetle- Ted Kord.

It's big, and certainly wasn't intended to open (evidenced by the fact that it took me forever to pry the top half from the bottom), but I that's exactly what my plan was. Something this cool simply could not NOT open....

It's taken me a little while, but in the end, she does exactly what I wanted- she OPENS. And She opens her wings as a beetle would.

I DID change the colors a bit, but from all the research I did, there was never one set shade or set of shades of blue, so I had no trouble taking a few liberties. All in all, she came out beautifully, and I couldn't be happier.
