This one only took me about 4, 4 and a half hours or so... with probably the last 45 mins to an hour going to getting the dangly things right... (I didn't know getting that top loop bent would be such a pain, lol!)Originally, it was all chain, but when the size ratio didn't work for the scales to dangle, I got the idea for crystals, and thought it'd be cool to put on in the center... so I did.
All in all, I'm extremely happy with how this one came out.

The pattern is one I designed shortly after I found chainmaille graph paper.
Good gods I can't believe it's been 6 years since I made the thing.... O.O And I haven't done simple 4-1 in ages... I just might have to do a new one with different colors.

you have a fine sens of balance in that. It would have been easy to make it too much, but you didn't. I like it.

that's one of the things I really like about this one- it's still nice and delicate, but it's big enough that it looks good and won't get lost, like some jewelry.
And to think- I haven't gotten around to teaching myself aything other than basic european 4 in 1! LOL.
