Project: 3 story illustrations

Story: Withnail & I

Two out-of-work actors in the 60s get tired of their having no food, no heat, no jobs, ect, and decide to go on holiday in the country, which turns out to be an utter gong show. One of the funniest movies I've seen in a very long time and I heartily recommend it, especially now that the Criterion Collection has released a snazzy version of it.

This is Withnail & I sitting around in their run-down flat, dishes piling up and supporting fledgling ecosystems. Marwood (AKA & I - character on the couch) is also suffering through an overdose and pondering how Withnail is driving him crazy.

Acrylic ink, colors adjusted slightly in photoshop. I love this story, I had fun with the drawings, so I guess I'm extra dissapointed that the finished piece was such a hack rush-job. I plan on redoing these over the summer.
