This whole =cookiekitty contest thing got me in the fairytale mood, so I also made this one. it's the Ice queen. And this is what Wikipedia says about her:"The Snow Queen (Danish: Sneedronningen) is a fairy tale written by Hans Christian Andersen and first published in 1845. The story centers on the struggle between good and evil as taken on by a little boy and girl, Gerda and Kay."
I personally think the Snow Queen kicks ass, so here she is... Destroyed by my lack of skill...

very cool image but the smoke around her head near her hair seems unrealistic and the smoke adds a weird effect. maybe try experimenting. good none the less keep it up.

It's not smoke. it's the clouds behind her... I made her a bit see-through, so you might be seeing the textrure of the clouds.

I love figures who appear to be invulnerable to the elements, especially the snow.
My boyfriend plays a lot of D&D and this
maiden reminds me of a particular being in the game and actually, I believe she came from asian lore, called a Yuki-a-na. They are the spirit of a beautiful women (benevolent or malevolent) with, well in my own words, the aura of a blizzard.

An excellent piece of work, I remember reading that fairy tale in class when I was quite young and I always imagined the Snow Queen to be very cold and terrifying... Which has certainly been captured here.

Well, lack of skill means that it cold have been done much better... I just need to work on my photoshoping a bit more in the days to come....
I watched the Hallmark interpretation of the snow queen and she looked so cool with the long white hair and so it kinda inspired me...

Pa, kosa je brush, a ruine su neki dvorac u engleskoj. Pogledaj njen stock, uglavnom visi po tim zidinama u toj haljinici.
A lice sam sredila da bude providno jer je trebala da izgleda staklasto... Failed miserably...
