this is a scratchboard of shana no shakugan it was an art assinment & uh well it took a wile to finish & i made A LOT of mistakes cause'when ur using a scratchboard u do everything backwords so insted of drawing & coloring the dark parts u need to do the light parts first & it was hard for me to adjust to that but im really glad it came out good but its still not one of my faverits & i wish i took more time on it.Related content

Ive never heard a scrach board b4.... Tjis looms reql good is like to do a pic only with black and whire but i honestly got no idea where to start since i use colours on paint tool sai like this [link] any tips

Im sorry didnt reqlize my bad spelling lol.. 1 what is a scratch board ive never heard of that b4. 2 i would love to be able to do a pic like that but would not know where to start can any pic b turned into a black and white like yours? well scatchboards are not on the computer its a clay coated hardboard panel that is coated with India ink & when u scratch at it with tools like these [link] it turns white. i don't realy know where u can get them cause i got mine from my art teacher but u can try any art supplie store or craft store i think u can buy them online 2 u can buy the realy cheap paper ones with the rainbow colors at target but i don't think u'd wont those. but if u do get ahold of one u'll need a scratching tool or a sharp sculping tool, chalk,black pen,tape & a pencil drawing. u'll use the chalk to cover the hole back side of your pencil drawing then you will tape it on to ur sratchboard & trace it with ur pen, after, you will take ur scratching or sculpting tool & start to sratch BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING U NEED 2 REMEMBER IS THAT UR SRATCHING OUT THE LIGHTER PARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i made that mistake A LOT cause' if ur use to just pencil or pen or using the computer ur probrbly use to drawing the darkerparts or shadding them so here everything is opposite & if u do make a mistake you can just use ur BLACK pen to color in ur mistakes. u can color them with some sort of oils but i've never used them but i plan 2 color this one when i get back in school. well i hope this helps & if i doesn't you cane always look it up on youtube,& i hope ur scrachboard comes out awesome

uh well u just scratch at it with a sharp sculpting tool & if u mess up u can just color it in with a pen
