Description I cried after I got told my work was shit during an assignment.
I drew this to show how much I suck at model making.

Artworks get produced when lace cries.

Whoever says your work is "shit" is butthurt and jealous.
Fucking bothers me when "classically trained artists" and pompous, pretentious arsehole shit on everyone else's work. I mean, if you're one of those people that supposedly know something about art, you know it's subjective.

Fucking. Butthurt. Morons.

I love this, I wouldn't change a thing about it. The tattoo enthusiast in me wants the banner and lettering to be in a certain style, but my heart knows that it should be left "imperfect" and full of charm. I love the lines, the movement and volume in the hair. I want to touch it. The little roses are pefect and make me think of Rennie Mackintosh.

I think I worded it wrong in my description. He called my model work shit and then i drew this for him to make him realise that I wasn't made for this course. But yeah my course (Interior and Spatial Design) is really conceptual and VERY VERY VAGUE.

Eeeee the lettering makes me cringe all the time whenever I look at this piece. But don't worry. If my transfer gets through and I'm in the course that I want to be in, then I'll be learning about fonts and lettering so whoop whoop I can actually use text properly in my works.

Rennie Mackintosh. Is this my new muse?

He could be! If you're into pretty art nouveau things and roses! His style has influenced many an interior.

Model work? Is that like physical little models or 3D? I'm a noob when it comes to that sorta thing. Also lettering. Your lettering rocks way harder than mine. That's why I generally avoid it altogether!

Even so! I think my original point still stands if we're talking about vague and conceptual things. No?

fjlwejflwefjelwf I will now go search him up!

Like little physical models of interiors of 'interpretations of space' whatever they chucked at us. I am aboslutely horrible at making models or doing any 3d work. My tutor gave up on me doing any model iteration so he just told me to draw them all. It was the best moment. LETTERING ISSS EVILLL until you start learning how to handle it.

YES, it's like post-modern theory--everything has it own interpretation and is not limited to one.

This most certainly is not poo.

The beautiful detail of hair, the solidity of the picture- it's wonderful. You are extremely talented. Don't let others tell you otherwise. Chin up, dear!
