Anyway...I like the look of shock on Kishin's face. lol...I would think a guy would enjoy being kissed randomly by a pretty girl...but I guess big, scary (hot) deities aren't...lol.
So...if I ever met a guy with an acutally good oni link cosplay, i'd probably tackle him...maybe even pull something like Lil' Marin, here. lol.
I'm so proud of myself...i actually did a background for once!

A strange but a very nice (and logic ?) couple. (After all, Link throw the Fierce Deity mask in the sea, and Marin wait on a island.)

Malon and Marin are equivalent characters, putting it mildly. Just a translation issue; their fathers Talon and Tarin are comedic relief characters in their respective games, also. Both wear similar outfits, have a lovely singing voice, and have a flirtatious friendship with Link. Marin is even mistaken for Zelda when Link comes to in Koholint. Hence, when you say that Marin should appear more, it's probably just pining for the time when she was often found collecting seashells along the coast, rather than tending cattle like a landlubber.
The shading on Marin's hair is interesting, while the folds on her outfit could have gotten a better touch-up. Since you don't appear to submit too many pieces with backgrounds, I'll say the one thing that detracted from it is from the shading pattern is consistent. By that I mean the distance cannot be fathomed, as there isn't a change in tone or hue as the distance from each tree grows. Of course, the foliage darkens with the greater distance, but not the trees themselves. Still, it's better than no background at all. Oni Link's eyes almost appear cross-eyed, enhancing the sheer unlikelihood of this occurring. If there was something I would change, it would be the hand: the claw of fingers ought to point in another angle to better emphasize the tension. It otherwise looks like a fist, which isn't quite what a man does when a pretty girl takes the initiative like this.
This is an okay piece, though it's certainly dated. I just hope you've improved over time. It's still good since it doesn't bother with Photoshop for endless digital polish; this reflects your ability without digital media as a crutch.

Marin is from Link's Awakening, the old Game boy/ Game boy color Zelda game.... I just really like her and Fierce Deity (form Majora's Mask) So I started to pair them together. I do that. lol.
