Description
I added some length to the tail part of the head...the paint is still drying.This is made from foamies, fabric, glue, modge podge, paint, and stuffing.
I cut clear plastic for the eyes, cover them in black fabric and attached them over the eye holes of my mask. I can see out of it, but my vision is limited. I have like...no peripheral vision with this on.
I've added some padding inside, but I need to add some more. I need it to fit a little tighter...then I think the mouth with move a little when I talk. At least I'm hoping it it. If not, at least I'll have a hole for air/ food and drink.

Wow that's turning out really epic! Good job Marin! That's an awesome Zora mask! Although with every mask, its going to get hot in there. So hopefully you can easily put it on and off too. Its looking really amazing, I'm looking forward for the next progress pictures!

Yeah...I'm hopeful that it will be nice when I wear this...granted, the body suit I made isn't very warm...so my head, feet, and arms should probably be the only places to get really warm...since the boots and gauntlets and all. >_< By the way...fins are a pain to make.

I love it...
my only recommendation, use Sunglass lenses for the eyes ^_^ Get some really big ones at like walgreens. Works PERFECTLY. ^_^ You can use hot glue or super glue to hold em in.

I thought about sunglasses, but I'm not sure how to cut the lenses to fit...can you use just normal scissors?

Actually, just fit the lenses over the hole. Its cool cause when you put on the mask, if its done right its like youre wearing glasses at least thats what it feels. If you do want to ut them there is this hot gun that cuts glass at hobby lobby, it come sin a kit. You cut it and sand it ^_^

well, the mask was "built up" so the lenses wouldn't sit flush against the inside of the hole...it be back about a fourth of an inch or more. and if i put them over top of th hole on the outside of the mask it'll suin the shape of the eyes...>_<

Well find some junk lenses and get that glass cutter thing from hobby lobby. Tell them you need to cut plastic. Youll see glass and plastic sheets. you know youre close when you see that. I dont think its too much. Its a great tool and it works on so many materials.
Thats of course if you have the time and money ^_^ I love it none the less!

Well, i don't have a hobby lobby near me unfortunately...th closest one is like 2 hours away...but my walmart sells fabric, so..i get most of my materials there. But, I will keep that in mind for if I ever get to a hobby lobby!

well I like it so far! it looks good ^_^ just take lots of breaks haha.. thats what I do with any mask... it looks really good and I love the gradient painting as well!
