This is very nice! Seems like toonshade-lines are abused pretty easily, but this model is very clean and it suits it well. Great job!

Thanks, mate. I don't claim to be a master, but the general trick of doing toonshading to me is having solid outlines and not messing it up by having too many details.
It's a style that more or less tries to emulate the look of cartoons. They're typically made up of strong, uniform colors that harmonize instead of clutter.
